Trade Support - Operations Specialist, Docklands £20ph - £25ph

This excellent opportunity for a Trade Support - Operations Specialist has arisen within the world's largest institutional asset manager based in the Docklands

This Asset Manager is an acknowledged leader in institutional investing with $2.0 trillion in assets under management, investment strategies and integrated solutions to their clients worldwide, across virtually every asset class, capitalisation range, investment approach, region, and style. This leading Asset Manager commands a truly global presence, with 27 locations and 11 investment centres across 5 continents.

The main purpose of this role will be to affirm all deals with appropriate broker or counter-party if required. Communicate all settlement information to appropriate custodian and broker.

The Trade Support-Operations Specialist responsibilities include:

Interface to Custodian and instruct transaction settlement details.
Monitor and resolve trade queries.
Monitor Broker/Custodian performance.
Identify improvements that can be made to current processes and procedures.

You will need to have 1 year's relevant experience working in an operations environment of an Investment House. You will ideally have to have a good knowledge and understanding of Equities, Global Fixed Income and Derivatives. The successful candidate should be capable of working to very high standards with minimum supervision.
