A business analyst is required by a leading global custodian, based in the London Docklands. The alternative fund services team provides hedge fund administration services, alternative custody services, transfer agency and investor servicing.


This role will be responsible for participating in projects which will involve analysing business processes and business problems with a view to introducing business solutions that add value to our products. The individual will also be required to design and execute test packages to prove the effectiveness of the determined solutions.


You will analyse business problems and produce detailed requirements documents for the solution of those problems. You will be responsible for producing comprehensive documents that are easily understandable and readable by both technical and non technical staff members and vendors.


In-depth experience of working in the financial services industry in a business analyst capacity is demanded by this role. You will demonstrate proven ability in analysis and design gained by working on large scale projects. Previous experience of hedge fund management or administration, private equity or partnership accounting would be preferred.
