Position: Compliance Analyst - Edinburgh, City Centre
Rate: Up to £16.50 per hour

A Compliance Analyst is required to work within this fast moving investment house based in Edinburgh's city centre. The Compliance Analyst will be required to develop and implement the annual compliance monitoring regime and manage the day-to-day compliance activities of the business.

Responsibilities of the Compliance Analyst:

- Organise, undertake and document detailed risk based compliance monitoring and spot checks
- Review daily positions ensuring compliance with the FSA requirements
- Liaise with the FSA and other regulatory bodies, preparing submissions and reports where required and co-coordinating periodic visits
- Maintain and develop the risk assessment of the business with the objective of defining and improving internal controls and compliance procedures
- Maintain and review the operational Risk Registers
- Review new rules, regulations and laws to assess the impact on the business and update and communicate procedures and the Compliance Manual where appropriate

Background of the Compliance Analyst:

- Background in financial services, ideally from investments
- Solid understanding of Compliance and Risk
- Solid understanding of FSA regulatory requirements
- Good IT skills

This is an ongoing temp role for a Compliance Analyst paying up to £16.50 per hour with the possibility of temp - perm. This is a Monday - Friday position.
