A high-calibre, extensively experienced supervisor is required for interest rate derivatives confirmations within a premier European investment bank. The role is based in London.


Working in the middle office team for a large group of traders and marketers, the successful candidate will be performing a confirmation production for a variety of interest rate OTC derivative products. At the moment the middle office has professionals across functions of trade support, P&L controlling and confirmations.


The role will involve responsibility for the management of the documentation team, covering vanilla and exotic products. You will contribute to recruitment, retention and training / development of staff. You will provide them with clear guidance and objectives. You will motivate staff and give feedback on an individual basis. You will also undertake the appraisal process and recommendation for compensation exercise.


Proven and demonstrable OTC interest rate documentation drafting experience, including a strong exotic drafting background, is required. You will demonstrate excellent working knowledge of 2006 ISDA definitions, 2006 inflation definitions, 2004 Novation definitions. A comprehensive understanding of derivative instruments is essential.
