Our client is a leading global provider of alternative investment products and solutions for private and institutional investors, designed to deliver absolute returns with a low correlation to equity and bond market benchmarks. They are now seeking an experienced Systems Accountant Finance Projects to help drive through a number of new & unique initiatives.

The overall purpose of this role is to participate in Finance Projects, leading them on a day-to-day basis as required. The role includes day-to-day responsibility for ensuring Finance projects are planned and managed through their lifecycle.

The primary responsibilities of Systems Accountant, Finance Projects include:
-Appraisal of change and development requests for Finance systems;
-Planning of change and development of Finance systems;
-Review & maintenance of overview of Finance systems architecture, configuration, process &
data flows;
-Preparation & management of testing required during projects;
-End user training where required pre-implementation of new functionality;
-Run Finance Projects as delegated by HoFSP and provide the project management function
within Finance in support of TG initiatives impacting the department

Our client is seeking a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA,ACA) with experience of development and testing of complex financial systems and supporting a widely dispersed user base. Experience of the above within a Financial Services environment would be ideal.
