A senior salesperson with the global debt services division is required for a premier international investment bank. The role is based in London.

The primary role of the salesperson for the global debt services group is the promotion of the full range of agency and trustee services to issuers of term debt, programme debt, project finance, escrow arrangements, debt restructuring and DDS. The individual will be responsible for the identification and generation of new sales opportunities within western Europe. Country coverage to be determined on prior experience, linguistic skills etc.

The individual is responsible for meeting new business revenue targets and managing expenses to plan. The individual is to devise and follow a sales strategy for each country and create specific account plans.

Duties include but are not limited to;
- promote and sell global debt products to issuers of international debt and equity
- forge and maintain close relationships with investment bankers, lawyers and other intermediaries through whom we are likely to win new business in the countries covered
- maintain contacts with relationship managers and leverage their client contacts to win new business
- source and close new sales opportunities
- achieve revenue goals

The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience along with strong interpersonal skills. A working knowledge of European markets, cultures, specialist global debt product knowledge or knowledge of the securities industry is essential.

The candidate will need the ability to multi-task and have strong analytical skills. Also excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as a high level of accuracy and attention to detail are required. Fluency in Italian and/or French is essential
