• Operational Risk - Manager

• City of London £40,000 - £50,000 p/a Permanent

This international bank is seeking a candidate to support the Operational Risk Manager in the discharge of his duties and to support line management and the business functions with the identification, measurement, monitoring and mitigation of operational risks.

Specifically, the role requires the successful candidate to be able to assist in the set-up, facilitation and reporting of Risk and Control Self Assessments across the business areas to enable the Operational Risk Manager to meet head
office targets.

Key responsibilities of this role are:
- Development of the firm's fraud risk assessment capabilities;
- Incident capture and reporting;
- Key Risk Indicator reporting and development;
- Monthly reporting to Senior Risk Committee and Tokyo;
- Maintenance of Operational Risk policies and procedures.

The candidate will need to have previous experience in an Operational Risk role (or another control function such as Internal Audit or Compliance) preferable, they will also need strong knowledge of front, middle and back office controls. Good knowledge of Excel and basic Macros is essential.
