• Cobham £45,000 - £50,000 p/a Permanent

Looking for a new challenge? If so, our client, a Global Fund Services firm are now seeking a Fund Accountant. Our client is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial business and offers exciting opportunities for talented people looking to develop a career in global fund services in an international environment.

They focus on complex funds that are active in all kinds of markets, including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, commodities, emerging markets and related derivatives. It also will independently value portfolios, as well as facilitate custodian and prime broker settlement, over-the-counter derivatives processing, cash and collateral management and the administration of feeder funds.

The key responsibilities for the Fund Accountant include:
-Handling the daily accounting for a specific fund, including reconciliations, reviewing
the balance sheet and net asset value validation
-Responsibility for month-end valuation, ensuring deadlines are met and procedures are
adhered to in order to produce a timely and accurate NAV for each fund
-Understanding specific pricing requirements for valuations
-You will be responsible for establishing exceptional working relationships with client
representatives and other departments
-Experience in process improvements and maintaining a strong controls environment

Our client is seeking a qualified (CIMA, ACA,CPA or ACCA) Accountant with an interest in hedge fund accounting. This is an outstanding opportunity to work closely with the business in a progressive, entrepreneurial environment.
