Our client based in the City of London is one of the United Kingdoms leading providers of spread betting. Due to recent expansion a vacancy has arisen on the account opening manager . Based in my clients City office duties will include;

*Manage the new accounts team, both individual and corporate.
*Look to streamline new account processes.
*Approve and open new accounts for spread betting and foreign exchange in the future.
*Pick up a project to achieve automation of AML/KYC checks for UK applications
*Look at overseas data sources and work with developers building new accounts systems to support the rapidly growing business.
*In conjunction with compliance, keep procedures up to date with any changes within JMLSG guidelines.
*Work with client services and margins to improve fraud procedures and keep them up to date.
*Keep new account client communications up to date with procedures and guidelines.
*Review procedures for on boarding and work with project managers in other areas of the business to ensure a smooth process.

The role demands an in-depth knowledge of UK money laundering regulation along with strong management skills. Experience in checking of private companies, partnerships, trusts, and various offshore vehicles a must. Knowledge of industry standard information tools would be a significant bonus.
