Leading global investment bank with a strong and profitable private clients franchise is seeking the services of an eager and articulate Trade Services Advisor.
You will be working within a Busy Trade Services Team of 12 staff, dealing with all operational aspects of Trade Finance including Letters of Credit, Guarantees / Standby Letters of Credit, Financing and Collections. This is a varied role servicing the needs of both U.K corporate and Financial Institutions throughout the world.
Principal Responsibilities:
*Issuing, advising and amending of Letters Credit , Guarantees / Standby Letters of Credit
*Management of and Effecting payments under - Receivables Financing Facilities
*Dealing directly with clients on matters arising under transactions
*Ensuring compliance with Global and Local Operational Guidelines and Policies
*Communicating effectively with TRS Sales and other internal business partners
*Inputting / Controlling of transactions into the Trade Finance system
*Responsibility for departmental admin including invoicing of clients and a/c reconciliation
*Assisting with monthly reporting and corporate governance

This demands that the ideal person have Strong Trade Finance experience with a track record of successfully servicing a demanding client base against SLA's. You will ideally have a strong knowledge of ICC Rules relevant to products (UCP, URDG, ISP 98,).
