This renowned international investment bank with an outstanding reputation worldwide is looking for an exceptional and dynamic FICC - Credit Frequent User, Desk Assistant.

As a trading assistant you will become a member of the Fixed Income Currency Commodity team.

The key role will see you:

*Sales execute bond trades based on spreads. Temp calculates the actual prices for bond and govt hedge to be approved by sales and trading. Sale sends to the client. Sales & trading must agree prices
*Same as above for assignment/ termination fees on - cdsw screen. Sales and trading must agree prices. Sales must send to client.
*Key trades into the system for bonds and cds from manual written blotters of sales people. Sales checks entries in system and send recaps to clients
*Be first point of contact for trade queries from MO, Back office etc and discuss queries with clients. Be responsible for clearing the econ discrepancies/ counter-party unknown reports daily. Ultimate responsibility lies with sales.
*Download research from portal and send to sales to on-send to clients. Sales must send to client.
*Daily flow report - send sales credits to sales management for large trades.
*Add clients to cpt / portal.
*Look at all unmatched trades intra day - work out why and alert sales/ trading
*Write up a list of all index trades we have done during the day. Reconcile it with trader input trades and alert sales/ trading to any discrepancies.
*Photocopy blotters to load into shared drive
*Update new issue blotter with new issues sold, so we can refer back to it for future deals. Sales must review and approve.
*Maintain client order binder - ensure tickets are signed off correctly. Sales must review and approve.
*Chase docs for account opening/ set up FIAM accounts in tap - MO does this but chase up this process.
*Organise research road shows.

This role demands someone with good knowledge of Credit Derivative products. You will ideally be able to speak fluent French, German or Italian. You should also have a strong ability to understand and assimilate technical product and systems information in a methodical and accelerated manner.

This is prime opportunity to get into a premier investment bank for someone who has the product knowledge and is hungry for success in a high-pressure environment.
