• Legal Entity Controller

This leading asset management firm, who's committed to being one of the best financial services provider in the world, are now seeking a Legal Entity Controller. The team comprises of two departments: Financial Accounting & Control who provide expense variances for global business reporting and Legal Entity Reporting who provide revenue variances for global business reporting.

Our client provides investment management and related services to institutional and individual clients, company-sponsored mutual funds and other investment vehicles. These products and services are offered directly and through various financial intermediaries.

The key responsibilities for the Legal Entity Controller include:
-Assist the Legal Entity Reporting Manager with managing routine accounting deliverables as well
as supporting process re-engineering projects to support Legg Mason growth.
-Liaise and co-ordinate with internal/external parties to ensure the accurate and timely
preparation of monthly management accounts and statutory accounts for service and non core
service companies.
-Ensure the property provision is updated on a monthly basis and working closely with LMI
business heads to ensure all costs are fully accounted
-Assist with the restructuring of a number of non core LM entities, namely liquidations
-Review year end audit file, prepare statutory accounts and address auditor queries
-Prepare quarterly review file for auditors and addressing all queries thereon.

Our client is seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA,CPA or CIMA)with experience of UK/US accounting.
