An originator for structured commodity trade finance is required by an eminent international investment bank. The role is based in London.


The bank's structured trade & export finance department is a leading arranger of structured trade & export finance worldwide. One of its fastest growing areas is structured commodity trade finance.


As a result of the continued success of the group and the increasing need for commodity-backed financing products and solutions, an exceptional opportunity now exists for a talented and ambitious individual to join the team of this highly prestigious business area.


Duties will include providing support for the director in the origination, pricing, structuring and execution of transactions (including preparation of information memoranda). You will provide marketing coverage and origination for certain markets and/or clients, to be determined in accordance with the experience of the individual and the existing team members.


Demonstrable relevant experience, gained within a leading commercial or investment bank, is required for this role. You will be enthusiastic and proactive, with excellent, proven client liaison skills. A background in trade finance and familiarity with the terminology and usage of commodities would be a distinct advantage.
