An excellent opportunity for a Accounts Assistant has arisen within a highly respected Top Tier global financial services firm. The Financial Assistant will be responsible for ensuring financial accounting for Europe Division is done on a monthly basis. The candidate will be part of a team of 7 in an exciting and expanding company. Due to the nature of the business they will gain a wide exposure in Financial Accounting. Our client offers an impressive array of products and services in the equity and fixed income capital markets.

The key responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant include:
-To ensure prepayments and accruals are done monthly and schedules are kept up to date.
-Liaising extensively with internal clients
-Responsible for balance sheet substantiation and account reconciliation
-Control accounts are reviewed daily and that issues are resolved in a timely manner.
-Duties within Financial Control Processing Team are rotated during the year and there is an expectation that a team member is able to cover other members work. This allows a potential candidate to gain wide exposure to difference processes in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Our client is seeking part qualified accountant with prior experience within Financial services. Oracle General Ledger package and Essbase an advantage.
