• Real Estate Fund Accountant - London

• City of London £35,000 - £45,000 p/a Permanent

This excellent opportunity for a Real Estate Fund Accountant has arisen within a highly respected Investment Management firm. The successful candidate will be working alongside the property fund managers, and will be part of a team providing financial support on a day to day basis to the UK property fund.

Our client is one of the world's largest publicly traded investment management firms. They manage assets on behalf of institutions and individuals worldwide through a variety of equity, fixed income, cash management and alternative investment products.

The key responsibilities for the Real Estate Fund Accountant include:
-Valuation of the property unit trust and investments
-Calculation of monthly income distribution
-Assist in the preparation of quarterly management accounts
-Assist in the preparation of interim and final statutory accounts
-Preparation of regulatory reports
-Ad hoc reporting for the business
-Maintaining financials for the fund and it's investments
-Accounting for a small JPUT entity.

The ideal candidate should be a part qualified accountant and ideally have property experience along with prior experience of accounting packages such as SUN would be beneficial.
