• Fund Accounting Manager

• West End £50,000 - £60,000 p/a Permanent

This investment group is looking for a Fund Accountant Manager to take their career to the next level. With offices throughout Asia Pacific and Europe our client offers an extensive range of accounting and administration services to their clients to manage the fund to the end of its life. Initially their focus was on real estate funds and in addition to assembling a launch team for the fund they will work with and manage any asset manager, professional adviser or financial institution our client considers best suited for the project.

The key responsibilities for the Fund Accounting Manager include:
-Review and assist Fund Accountants in the production of management accounts and annual
financial statements for sign off
-Assist and review the distribution of income to investors
-Hold weekly meetings with Fund Accountants to discuss currents issues and targets
-Understand basic KYC process and report to Compliance Department any breach or complaints
-Delegating tasks and monitoring progress of staff
-Ensuring deadlines are met and understood by staff
-Liaising with corporate clients regarding reporting requirements and problems/Issues that arise

Our client is seeking a qualified accountant with experience of fund accounts but will be flexible for strong adaptable practice candidates. You should also have management experience as you will manage approx 8 people over 2 locations.
