An business control analyst is currently being sourced to work within one of the world's foremost investment custodians. The Business Control Analyst will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing monitoring of compliance with financial policies and procedures, business processes and controls.

Responsibilities of the Business Control Analyst include:

- The review and verification, by way of sample testing, of business procedures and practices
- Ensure stated internal procedures are being followed in respect of the production of daily pricing packs, Corporation Tax Returns Computation, VAT Returns Computation and Accounting Journals
- Ensuring common model being adopted across London and Edinburgh
- Liaise between Compliance and Fund Groups to ensure actions are agreed and subsequently followed up within agreed deadlines
- Preparation prior to compliance/ audit visits, close out meetings - SOX, GCE, Corporate Audit
- Ensuring appropriate client and fund documentations including SLAs are being maintained and updated on a regular basis

Specification of the Business Control Analyst:

- Familiar with Investment operations in the Valuations, Pricing and the Accounts functions.
- Extensive experience within fund accounting or related field
- Be a qualified accountant
- Good IT skills

This is an ongoing temp contract role for a Business Control Analyst paying up to £30.00 per hour. This is a Monday - Friday role.
