Leading global investment bank with a strong and profitable private clients franchise is seeking the services of an eager and enthusiastic Credit Derivatives Reconciliations' Analyst with Summit experience a must.

This reconciliation process is to ensure that the internal (Trader's ticket/Term sheet) or external document (Confirmation), reflects the trader's booking from both system's perspective. Therefore goes out of the door to the client, matches the risk profile of the trade in their in house system. A failure to do this can result in increased risk and ultimately losses for the bank.
Due to the exotic nature of the products that the desk trades, it is essential that the population in one matches the other so that risk is equal to the settlement values that are in Summit.

This role therefore involves extensive communication with other areas of the bank and as such requires an individual with good communication skills as well as an ability to prioritise a variety of tasks efficiently

The role involves the following responsibilities:

*Run the daily In House Reporting Systems to Summit population and economic reconciliations across all relevant books.
* Ensure the reconciliation has got the correct list of trades needed to reconcile manually for each book/product type.
* Perform initial investigations on reconciliation breaks, determining whether the trades should be amended in which system. Or uninvestigated breaks are allocated to the correct owners.
* Proactively follow up with BAC and Middle Office to ensure all breaks are resolved on a timely basis.
* Work with Middle Office and BAC to identify the root cause of breaks, and to implement process improvements to eliminate them
* Produce and distribute daily MIS, detailing numbers and age of singles and mismatches, and responsibility for resolution.
Track progress on resolution of individual breaks, and any changes in ownership.

The ideal candidate will have both Credit Derivatives experience and Summit experience.
