• Financial Planning & Analysis -Associate - London

• City of London £55,000 - £65,000 p/a Permanent

This energy company is looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Associate to take their career to the next level. Our client is a Fortune 200 integrated energy company based in the USA and with an international base in London. They have business lines including wholesale power and gas supply, management of a diversified fleet of generation assets, and various Upstream E&P activities.

The Associate has responsibility for our clients international business, analysing performance, creating financial models to forecast future earnings and deals and producing the financial packages for senior management and other business line stakeholders. The Associate will produce forward looking gross margin projections for one of the primary business lines of the international business based in London.

Key responsibilities include:
-Coordinate, develop, and assemble the current year's forecasts and 5-year business plan
-Work with senior management to establish benchmarks and business targets
-Work with business team to identify improvements for accounting and forecasting systems
-Prepare detailed analysis of actual performance
-Prepare financial package for senior management and other business line stakeholders
-Assist the Commodities Finance team in identifying elements to address in the Earnings Call

Our client is seeking a qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CPA candidate who has strong analytical background with experience in financial modelling and Commodities
