This renowned international top tier investment bank is looking for an exceptional, enthusiastic Structured Rates, Trade Support Analyst with Derivatives experience a must. In this role you will be responsible for the capture of structured interest rate derivative transactions whilst ensuring Group standards (F.I.M.) are adhered to at all times and Best Practice Guidelines are followed wherever possible.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support the Front Office Structured Interest Rate Derivative businesses to provide a full, efficient, controlled and effective operational function; this encompasses verifying FO trade input, applying fixings to the relevant system, preparing and sending fixing advices, expiry report production for the Front Office call decisions, reconcile the FO/BO systems resolving any breaks, performing Calculation Agent duties for EMTN Note issues and checking the EMTN Note Pricing Supplements versus trade input.
*Establish/update procedures and desk Instructions for all functions currently under your control, ensuring adherence to FIM and following documented best practice wherever possible.
*Minimise operational losses for all functions under your control ensuring that operating procedures are updated in order to prevent recurrence.
*Efficiently process all due diligence proposals within the timeframes laid down in each proposal.
*Undertake system development and testing to continue the expansion of the current product range.
*Initiate and maintain productive relationships within the area and across other sections and departments.
*Improve efficiency by regular review of existing processes and refinement/amendment thereof wherever appropriate.
*Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which you are involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.
*Maintain Internal Control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
The role requires the individual to gain the Securities & Investment Institute IAQ qualification. This will be sponsored by the bank and the individual will be given appropriate study time to achieve the qualification.
