This excellent opportunity for a Collateral Management Team Leader has arisen within a highly respected Fund Management firm. Due to an increase in business volumes the company is currently looking to strengthen its Derivatives Services team. The team plays an integral role by mitigating the risk associated with OTC Derivatives processing and valuation though-out the lifecycle of each trade. As Team Leader within this function you will be leading a team of two and will have responsibility for: Understanding collateralisation requirements set out in supporting documentation, maintaining models for calculating counterparty credit exposure, validating and instructing collateral moves, managing relationship with outsourced collateral management service provider and managing and resolving cash reconciliation breaks. This will be a technically demanding role which will provide the incumbent with excellent knowledge of OTC Derivatives in a business area which is expected to grow. For this role my client is happy to consider applications from career-minded candidates with Investment Operations experience gained in the following areas : Collateral Management, Derivatives, Cash/Stock Settlements, Stock Lending or similar functions. A natural curiosity and interest in developing knowledge of derivatives is required as is an aptitude for leading a small team.
