• Quant Analyst: Multi-Manager - City

• City of London £40,000 - £50,000 p/a Permanent

A quantitative analyst is required for a large global asset management company that manages £billions of assets on behalf of institutional and retail investors, financial institutions and high net worth clients from around the world, invested in a broad range of asset classes across equities, fixed income and alternatives.



The multi manager investment team consists of a small group of professionals working in the London office. This is a rapidly growing product area, managed across a variety of multi-asset strategies on behalf of sterling, dollar, and euro investors.



This is an interesting and varied role, working within the group's multi-manager investment team. For the right candidate, the role has genuine potential for personal and professional development.



The quantitative analyst will be conducting quantitative analysis to identify investment products that are potentially suitable for inclusion in the team's multi-manager portfolios. Analysing portfolio risk positions and overseeing the accuracy of the team's official performance records. The role will also involve maintaining existing "tools" and creating new applications where needs arise.



Strong numerical and analytical skills are essential for this role, and knowledge of visual basic is an advantage. You will have demonstrable experience in working in a quantitative role within an asset management house, and experience of multi-asset and multi-manager would be desirable.
