Initially established to meet the needs of local investors and London-based affiliates of US companies, they have expanded their operations to deliver a full range of customised, client-focused solutions for sophisticated investors across Europe, the Middle East and South Africa.
The key responsibilities for the Assistant Manager Fund Accounting include:
-Daily management of the team including the planning and allocation of workloads
-Perform reviews of all fund accounts in SORP format
-Monitor and appraise the performance of direct reports - providing regular formal and informal
feedback ensuring the PPR system is updated within corporate deadlines
-Ensure effective logging and resolution of enquiries and liaise with appropriate parties to
resolve/escalate queries/problems within agreed timescales
The suitable candidate should have a professional accountancy qualification preferred or studying toward (CPA/CA/ACCA/CIMA) along with prior experience of accounting for Unit Trusts, OEIC's or other collective investment schemes.
