Looking for a new challenge? If so, this Investment firm will help you take your career to the next level while you realise your true potential. They are now seeking an Assistant Manager Fund Accounting who will be responsible for the daily management of a team.

Our client has been providing exceptional service to the UK's investment community since they first opened their doors in London. Initially established to meet the needs of local investors and London-based affiliates of US companies, they have expanded their operations to deliver a full range of customised, client-focused solutions for sophisticated investors across Europe, the Middle East and South Africa.

The key responsibilities for the Assistant Manager Fund Accounting include:
-Daily management of the team including the planning and allocation of workloads
-Perform reviews of all fund accounts in SORP format
-Monitor and appraise the performance of direct reports - providing regular formal and informal
feedback ensuring the PPR system is updated within corporate deadlines
-Ensure effective logging and resolution of enquiries and liaise with appropriate parties to
resolve/escalate queries/problems within agreed timescales

The suitable candidate should have a professional accountancy qualification preferred or studying toward (CPA/CA/ACCA/CIMA) along with prior experience of accounting for Unit Trusts, OEIC's or other collective investment schemes.
