This pre-eminent financial advisor to companies, governments and investors from around the world is seeking an experienced Credit Derivative Client Services Settlements Specialist with specialist DTCC knowledge.

The Client Services teams are responsible for verbal confirmation of trades, settlement approval, post settlement reconciliation and dealing with general client queries. The Trading Desks supported cover a wide range of the products within GMI.

The team is regularly involved in various projects and ongoing business improvement initiatives. A Client Services team member is expected to add value to the team by determining new ways to reduce costs, improve efficiency and controls through changes in procedures and technology improvements.

Responsibilities include:

*To confirm all new deal activity with clients and manage the approval and reconciliation of all payments and receipts.
*Interaction with Trade Support, Product Control and the Sales and Trading Desks to manage daily queries raised by these and other Departments.
*Taking full ownership of issues and ensure they are correctly and efficiently resolved.
*To actively monitor and control any breaks raised by Finance and settlement issues within the targets set by DCS&O management.
* Be involved in process initiatives and projects.

You will be required to have good Credit Derivatives and BO Settlements experience including DTCC settlements.
You will be a strong communicator both written and oral and be confident in liaising with areas of the business including external clients.

This is prime opportunity to get into client services for someone who has the product knowledge and is hungry for success in a high pressure environment. Whilst this position is initially is on a temporary contract there is a possibility it may go permanent.
