Our Client an actuarial and pensions consultancy practice, which provides actuarial, consultancy and third party pension scheme administration services to the SME market.

Due to expansion they are currently seeking a Senior Actuarial Consultant within their Glasgow office. The fairly open structure within the growing team makes it possible for team members at all levels to gain exposure to a very wide variety of pension scheme assignments.

Successful candidates will be given immediate client responsibility and will be expected to manage relationships with trustees and board level corporate clients.
Key skills for the role of Senior Actuarial Consultant:
The ideal candidate will have some years post qualification experience and hold a Scheme Actuary certificate (or be in a position to obtain one in the very near future).

You will be an effective communicator with strong client presentation skills (written and verbal), combined with a strong technical background, to meet the requirements of this role.

The work will also include new business development and may (depending on the preferences of the candidate) afford the opportunity to represent our professional trustee company, thereby gaining experience of actually acting as a pension scheme trustee.
