Position: Compliance Consultant - Central Scotland
Salary: £30 - £32,000

Our Client, based in Glasgow are looking for an experienced Compliance Consultant for their team to cover central Scotland. Salary to £32,000 plus benefits. The role will involve you working effectively and efficiently with a portfolio of Clients to monitor, review and support their business, ensuring compliance standards are met and enhanced, and value added.


Duties for the Compliance Consultant will include:

To create and maintain effective relationships with Clients, increasing knowledge and understanding of their business.
Create an appropriate programme of visits to meet the monitoring requirements of Clients through effective planning, organization and time management.
Prepare and produce quality monitoring reports and documents for Clients, ensuring accuracy in format and information therein.
Maintain accurate client records ensuring all information is held centrally.
Adhere to the monitoring procedures and ensure consistency in delivery.
Provide support to Clients during periods of regulatory change and during FSA Visits and build this into regular monitoring as appropriate.
Contribute to the profitability of the business and add value to Clients through the promotion of services and business tools e.g. AEQUOS, Trigold, Rapidinsure.
Ensure own knowledge is enhanced and maintained through relevant continued professional development.
Play an active part in the Operations team, carrying out work to enhance the unit and ensuring information, knowledge, experience and innovation is shared across the business.

Key Skills for the Compliance Consultant:

In order to be successful you will have in-depth knowledge of FSA requirements and a high standard of technical compliance knowledge. Ideally you will be from an IFA background and be happy to work within different locations throughout Central Scotland.
