A Testing Analyst is required to work on a critical project with one of the worlds most renowned asset managers. The role of Testing Analyst includes the responsibility for executing testing, reporting findings, defect management and communication of issues, completing necessary change control documentation, retesting, preparing business related documentation and carrying out training and implementing.

Responsibilities of the Testing Analyst:

- Adhere to the agreed testing strategy, compile test plan in relation to testing strategy, carry out testing in accordance with test plans, delivery to plan and adherence to corporate quality control standards
- Complete local and regional testing
- Ensure the testing and quality objectives of the project are delivered
- Reviewing Business Requirements and Functional Specification documents for the assigned project and ensuring adequate detail is captured in test scripts compiled
- Attend walk-throughs of testing requirements
- Report test findings via Test Director and record all aspects of the Defect Management obtained through testing. Following the Change Control process and resubmission for defect fixes to determine prioritisation and status. Upon completion of defect fix carry out retest
- Develop and prepare all necessary information/documentation

Qualifications of the Testing Analyst

- Preferred knowledge of project management and testing techniques within a financial services environment (ideally investments)
- Excellent IT skills including Excel, and in particular Test Director

This is a temp role for a Testing Analyst paying up to £18p/h with the possibility of perm. This is a Monday - Friday position.
