Our client is a leading global provider of alternative investment products and solutions for private and institutional investors, designed to deliver absolute returns with a low correlation to equity and bond market benchmarks.

This leading fund manager is looking for an experienced Technical Accountant to join their established & successful team. This is an outstanding opportunity to join the financial accounting and audit management team which is responsible for the management of the production of audited financial statements for various fund of fund throughout the year. The overall aim of the team is to ensure that financial statements are produced and externally audited within set timeframes.

The key responsibilities for the Technical Accountant include:
-Determination of accounting disclosures across 350+ financial statements.
-Identification and resolution of technical accounting issues.
-Preparation of high profile financial statements.
-Review and management of preparation of financial statements by other staff members.
-Provision of training to fund accountants preparing financial statements.
-Assist in the development of new tools for accelerating the delivery of financial statements.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with strong financial accounting skills in relation to IFRS (IFRS 7, IAS 32 & 39) and would have trained within a fund/or FS audit environment.
