• Product Controller - Equities

• Docklands £35.00 - £45.00 p/hr Temporary

This major European investment bank with over 150 years of history is renowned for its innovative and forward-thinking approach. This applies as much to their relations with their staff and contractors who they look to invest heavily in and cross-train as much as it does their clients who are impressed by their integrated approach.

Due to a major project within the product control division, the firm are looking to recruit a number of Product Controllers with Equity and Equity Derivative experience. You will be responsible for production of daily P&L for a number of books as well as analysis, explanation and validation of P/L according to market moves, new trades and other influences. As Product Controller you will also be responsible for management of risk provisions and assist in valuation issues.

You will possess at least 1-2 years product control experience around Equities but experience of other product classes and the desire to learn more will also suffice if you have a strong accounting background such as a professional qualification. Opportunities also exist to move into a more project-oriented role and gain business analysis / formal process improvement skills.
