A leading asset manager, based in London, requires a manager for index funds.
The purpose of the role is to implement, monitor and report on passive investment strategies for a portfolio of primarily, corporate pension fund clients covering investment decisions, economic triggers, unit transfers, benchmarking, indices, data collection, unitised performance measurement, report writing and system specification/testing.
Principal accountabilities will be to manage a portfolio of pension fund clients following mathematically based investment strategies including the application of cash flows, time based and event driven rebalancing and the implementation of revised investment mandates.
The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre, desirably in a mathematical/statistical related subject desirable. A financial qualification (or working towards) would be ideal. You will have proven index funds experience including experience in performance measurement, desirably at a supervisor/management level.
