A Global Fund Manager based in the City are looking for a Transitions Co-Ordinator. This organisation is one of the world's largest fund managers with offices in 11 countries and a 3,600 strong workforce..

They offer funds focusing on active, index and asset allocation strategies, liability driven investment, currency strategies, cash management, securities lending, hedging strategies, transitions and commodities trading.
This position is for an individual who is familiar with the portfolio management industry and in particular transition management. This person will work alongside a team of approx ten people reporting to the Head of Transitions.
The role involves:-
*Working with custodians and internal departments within the company to open new accounts correctly and in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements.
*Liaising with custodians and other fund management houses to ensure accurate information on clients' portfolios as quickly as possible in the transition process to enable a smooth and timely transition.
*Providing information to and assisting the Transition Managers and other portfolio managers to enable them to manage clients' investments in a risk controlled and efficient manner.
*Monitoring the settlement of transition free of payment trades and cash movements on client accounts.
*Ensure corporate actions are accurately tracked during transitions.
