Senior Business Analyst - London

A prestigious investment bank requires a senior business analyst, to be responsible for managing and leading the information technology trading & compliance group covering all applications across this large financial institution in the London office.
The incumbent will determine the technology strategy and planning, as well as the technical direction for the investment management organization.
The candidate will be responsible for the information technology strategy and planning formulation and communication. They will possess securities industry experience, preferably across multiple asset classes at a major financial institution or investment management firm.
The candidate must have excellent experience in creating business requirements, functional requirements and test scenarios and cases. The ideal candidate will be an experienced business analyst with previous front office experience. This role requires an excellent understanding of investment business processes and experience maintaining and supporting investment applications. To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess strong business analyst and project management skills.
A detailed knowledge and understanding of a wide range of products including: equities, fixed income, derivatives and swaps would be ideal, however not essential.
