This excellent opportunity for a Structured Credit product controller has arisen within a highly respected Top Tier Investment Bank. Our client is a leading global investment bank with a strong and profitable private clients franchise. A leader in Germany and Europe, the bank is continuously growing in North America, Asia, and key emerging markets.

Within Global Markets Finance the Structured Credit Finance Desk provides structured credit solutions across a wide and diverse range of products. The candidate would gain exposure to a wide range of structured transactions including negative basis, structured reverse repo's and non recourse equity and commodity financing amongst others.

The main responsibilities for the Analyst include:
-Involve running a relatively compact Daily P&L for a period of 3-6 months.
-Production of Structured P&L
-Looking at value added tasks such as desk interaction, structured trade review and modelling
exotic trades.
-The valuation aspect commonly involves modelling trades using our in house Analytics
infrastructure and analysing the resultant PV and Risk
-The candidate would be concerned with structured trade review including assessing booking
methodologies, modelling requirements, technical accounting opinions.

The ideal candidate should be a straight graduate or part qualified with banking experience. This position would allow the candidate to learn the core products and systems and would give them exposure to the huge variety of issues that are inherent in the structured businesses.
