A hedge fund operations manager is required for one of the world's largest fund managers, which manages assets worth trillions for institutional and private clients around the world. The role is based in London.


The client services team is based in London and is part of investment operations. They are responsible for receiving and processing orders from institutional clients within Europe and Asia and managing the downstream order and settlement processes between clients, fund managers, custodians and transfer agents.


The hedge fund operations manager will take full responsibility for the evolution and development of a small specialised team within client services, who will have end to end ownership for the order management process across the entire firm's hedge funds and the complex fund ranges and structures.


Successful completion of the complicated order process will be the key success criteria for this new team.


This challenging role will require the individual to work with both internal and external operational teams at all levels. As an excellent communicator, people and process manager, this individual will need to have a proven track record in managing operational processes. Exposure specifically to transfer agency or custody dealing and settlement cycles is essential.
