A London based securities and investment banking arm of one of the world's largest banking groups, that offers a broad range of tailored asset and liability advisory and financing services in the debt and equity markets seek a highly motivated and experienced income analyst.
As an Income consultant you will be responsible for a review of the income area with a view to providing recommendations for operational process enhancements and system enhancements. Initial field work is required by gaining a full understanding of the day to day duties of the income staff and documenting the current processes and procedures. Recommendations for system and operational process enhancements are to be presented to management.
You will be responsible for creating a plan to implement the approved recommendations.

SPECIFIC TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

*To pay particular attention to risks and controls within income and redemption processing.

*Responsible for doing a route cause analysis with a view to providing enhancements to operational and system processes. Taking into account industry initiatives and other project work across the Custody area when making recommendations

*Responsible for the documentation of daily workflow and procedures.

*Providing cover for immediate income processing staff and supporting the Corporate Actions Officer where appropriate.

*Creating a project implementation plan for delivery of approved recommendations.

*To coordinate all tasks in the implementation of the plan.

*To create testing scripts and support User Acceptance Testing.

*Responsible for the daily workflow and procedures.


You will need Extensive knowledge of custody and or broker-dealer back office operations, controls and procedures. You must have Strong technical and working knowledge of fixed income coupon and redemption processing practices with the associated tax experience. Project planning and implementation experience would be advantageous. You will have Up to date knowledge of money transfer processes - SWIFT and other bank transfer methods...
