Learning and Development AVP - London
Private Wealth division of Global Bank

An autonomous role and requiring a credible and confident Learning and Development professional who is willing to work under minimal supervision. The client group is geographically and demographically diverse so the successful candidate has to be able to tailor their approach to different audiences.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Development professional currently working within the Financial Services industry. Specific Asset or Private Wealth Management exposure would be ideal.

Role

- Integration programme for a newly acquired Wealth Management businessincluding training and road shows
- Talent Reviews
- Tailored design of selling and employment law training
- Partnering coaches with Senior employees
- Building trusting relationships with the business line and engaging and challenging them in their thinking of Development
- Professional delivery of development product areas' initiatives
- Identify gaps and working with vendors to design new courses
- Participate in projects ranging from systems/ technical products through to culture and orientation initiatives
- Evaluate development products to ensure adherence to quality standards, employees satisfaction and process efficiency

Person:

- Learning and Development experience
- Strong business acumen and good understanding of the financial services market
- Strong relationship management with business line management and HR professionals
