PMO - Regulatory Business Analyst

A global giant in the world of fund management is looking for a Regulatory Business Analyst to take ownership for the completion of a global Data Privacy gap analysis by following a prescribed methodology. You will be required to analyse the findings from the gap analysis and work with the project manager to produce a remediation plan detailing the activities to be undertaken, resources required and external costs, work with the project manager and the Global Data Protection Officer to address the gaps through the creation of policies, processes or business requirements / functional specifications Business Analyst 'generic', work effectively within the projects, supporting the project manager and other team members, liaise with business leads, other key business representatives and appropriate third parties to ensure accurate and appropriate analysis is carried out. and to support the business functions in delivering the remediation activities, create high quality business analysis deliverables, for example, business cases / investment appraisals; current / target state definition and gap analyses, business requirements definitions (with justifications), ad hoc analyses including entity relationship models, data flow diagrams, activity diagrams, state transition tables, decision trees and also assist the Project Manager, IT leads and other team members in understanding analysis documentation.
Applications are welcomed from candidates with strong structured business analysis and documentation skills, who are self motivated, delivery focused and able to work within tight timescales and have good time management and planning skills, good communication and meeting facilitation skills and have the ability to manage project risks and issues and to escalate where required with a flexible approach to working hours to facilitate global time-zones.
Experience of regulatory change or working within a compliance function is essential, with sound project disciplines, and previous exposure to working within a global environment. Experience of working with remote teams and business representatives and to keep track of their deliverables so that early warnings of non delivery are detected and escalated is preferred. Knowledge of the UK Data Protection law, EU regulatory framework and financial services knowledge related to asset management is desirable.
