Compliance Assistant

A brand-name premier asset manager is looking to recruit an individual to join their fixed income advisory team, to become a compliance manager. The role is distinctly high-calibre and requires a well-practised professional.

The firm is responsible for managing assets of client funds including retail, institutional, life and pensions. The role's purpose is to assist in providing advice and compliance representation on business products and projects, to enable the business units to discharge their responsibilities in accordance with all relevant FSA, European and sec regulations, as well as internal standards.

This role would ideally suit candidates with 3 years or more experience in asset management compliance, but this is not essential. You will preferably have attained a professional qualification or IMC, or be willing to study towards. Knowledge of UK, SEC and European regulations as applicable to an asset manager is essential, and you will demonstrate a well-developed understanding of both front and back office activities in a fund management firm.
