Looking for a new challenge? If so this global asset management firm is seeking an enthusiastic Regulatory Accountant to take your career to the next, you will be reporting to the Legal Entity Controller and ensure the business understands and adheres to regulatory accounting requirements.

Our client provides investment management and related services to institutional and individual clients, company-sponsored mutual funds and other investment vehicles. These products and services are offered directly and through various financial intermediaries. Operations are principally located in the USA and UK with offices also located in Australia, Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Dubai, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Poland, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain and Taiwan.

The key responsibilities for the Regulatory Accountant include:
-Work with Legal Entity Accountants to prepare quarterly returns, then submit to the FSA under
BIPRU (IPRU INV chapter 5)
-Prepare quarterly GVFDI Return under German regulations for German branch
-Produce the consolidated detailed P&L and balance sheets for all LMI / LMIE businesses
-Ensure all activities and reports are SOX compliant
-Build relationships with LMI and LMIE business heads to connect business activities with regulatory reporting activities and requirements
-Assist the Legal Entity Controller in developing procedures and controls.

Our client is seeking a candidate with an ACA/ACCA qualification, preferably with first time passes along with previous responsibility of delivering regulatory reporting under IPRU chapter 5.
