Senior Clerk Trade Finance - London

A senior trade finance clerk is required by a highly prestigious investment bank. The role is based in London, and offers exciting job prospects and development.

Main duties and responsibilities of role include:-

- import / export L/Cs - issues L/C as requested.
- amend and review L/C's to ensure content is consistent/conforms with current UCP regulations.
- input/verify entries for L/C liability and commission.
- prepare any necessary correspondence in relation to discrepancies found and monitor file until resolution.
- create correspondence related to inward/outward collections received. Ensure compliance to current UCR regulations.
- prepare relative correspondence.
- review letters of indemnity applications and issue as requested
- supply customer with report of outstanding letter of indemnity as required.
- issue guarantees as required, input entries for liability and commission. Input vouchers. Diarise for future commission event date(s). Calculate and prepare commission correspondence. Monitor file until commission settled. Monitor file until cancelled.
- process clean payments/receipts for customers.

Naturally, you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organisation with strong numerical skills and attention to detail
