Our esteemed client is the world's leading electronic marketplace for energy trading and price discovery.

An opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre, outstanding individual to become director of operations.

The jobholder will be in charge of the smooth and efficient day to day running of the firms operations business cycle. The jobholder will work with the Head of Operations to establish, maintain and operate a framework which will keep the firm at the forefront of global clearing best practice.

The jobholder will have significant influence over the development of clearing operations. They will also be able to influence future process designs.

The job holder's primary responsibility will be for the smooth operation and completion of the daily clearing cycle. As such they will be used to working closely with multi-disciplined teams in resolving and overcoming operational difficulties.

The successful candidate for this role will be of graduate calibre, although educational background will not be the most important thing. Our client is looking for someone with deep experience in clearing operations. Candidates are likely to have worked at one or more clearing firms, or at a clearing house. Experience of TRS/CPS would be an advantage.
