Transitions New Business - Team Leader - Docklands
A team leader for the transitions new business department is required for a leading provider of asset services and solutions. The role is based in London's Docklands
The Transfers team within the transitions group is responsible for the successful and efficient movement of client portfolios either internally between existing accounts or externally in respect of in-specie investments into fund vehicles. As a client driven process, the team is responsible for the successful and timely delivery of restructure and transitions activity to a high level of client satisfaction.
The transition team is a very busy, pressurised and exciting department. The ideal candidate will ensure that the team is full resourced and trained to successfully transition clients.
The role involves extensive liaison internally with client services, IMLG, settlements, entitlements, and externally with investment managers and global custodians.
Communications with these parties involves arranging the physical transfer of the client's stock, cash, derivative products, forward exchange deals, and accounting data within the timeframes stipulated by the client/consultant.
The successful individual must have the following skills:-
- extensive industry related experience.
- proven leadership and people management skills.
- ability to prioritise and organise own/teams' work with minimal supervision.
- strong written and verbal communication - able to communicate processes, procedures, and, issues in a logical manner both to internal and external parties.
- able to demonstrate strong risk management skills.
- be flexible and methodical in approach
