Bank Loans Servicing - Technical Specialist Analyst - London

A bank loans servicing, technical specialist analyst is required for a prestigious international investment bank. The role is based in London.

Bank loan operations supports business areas across the firm who deal in bank loans. A wide spectrum of bank loans businesses are covered - from new issue deals from the financing group to par and distressed secondary trading from the broker dealer desk. The complex nature of loans allows exposure to novel and interesting structures with significant interaction outside of the group.

Key skills needed for this role are:-

- managing a portfolio of loans
- ensuring that the internal bank loans systems are accurate and up to date
- representing the department internally on a wide range of topics
- interacting with legal, compliance, credit, tax, controllers, treasury, Internal and external clients
- interacting with IT on systems enhancements and development initiatives
- the ability to generate creative solutions to problems and challenge processes and be willing to dig into the detail to resolve issues
- flexibility to manage differing challenges and ever-increasing complex nature of transactions
- confidence to interact with external counterparts
- the ability to learn quickly in a fast moving environment. Team oriented approach to sharing workload and leverage skill sets
