OTC Derivatives Clerk - Canary Wharf - £16 / £22 per hour

This excellent opportunity for an OTC Derivatives Clerk has arisen within a highly respected Top tier custodian.

This company is a leading global provider of investment management products and services. With a great depth and breadth of expertise, they help clients achieve their goals through a wide array of strategies, in every major sector and asset class through various distribution channels.

This roles responsibility includes:

- Payment / receipt of cash proceeds relating to OTC Trading.
- Market reconciliation and the calculation of margining / profit / loss / Interest on various OTC Products.
- Daily Payments
- To instruct the market accordingly with any payments relating to OTC trading.
- Monitoring the payments to ensure that funds have been applied to client accounts or received by counterparty.
- Position / Cash reconciliation
- To reconcile and report on all portfolio and derivative specific records within the set performance standards. Actively monitoring and clearing all open exceptions within set timeframes.
- P/L and Interest
- To calculate any profit, loss or interest on OTC products and instruct or report accordingly.
- Produce and maintain accurate and comprehensive reporting for both External and Internal parties.
- Broker / Client Liaison
- To liaise with clients and brokers answering queries and attending regular service reviews to ensure they support our product delivery.
- To build and maintain relationships with the other core areas, thereby ensuring an efficient operating model.
