Senior Client Relationship Manager - Kent

A senior client relationship manager is required within a prestigious investment bank. The firm is an established mutual fund manager for millions of investors around the world - major institutions as well as private individuals.

The role is based primarily in Kent but will require extensive travel to surrey. However during the first six months the role will be based in Kent with frequent visits to other UK operations departments. The role reports to the Head of CSM based in surrey as part of operations.

The key responsibilities of the role include:-
- ensuring that smooth operational procedures are applied by leveraging off the subject matter experts throughout the company.
- providing consultancy services on many operational matters and presents/sells service solutions to key clients.
- being the central point of contact on operational matters and works in close co-operation with the sales teams.
- overall responsibility for the operational and service structure ensuring a smooth client take-on process and seeking to improve existing relationships with clients, dealing platforms and the correspondent bank network.
- proactively review service offering, client requirements and industry service levels
- manage projects relating to intermediaries such as systems enhancements, statistical reporting, etc.
- manage a small team of client relationship managers.

This role is ideal for academically sound individuals (desirably with business administration, finance or economics) with experience from a similar position within the financial industry. Knowledge of mutual funds, fund distribution channels and correspondent bank functions is also essential.
