Client Portfolio Manager's Assistant - Docklands £ 22ph - £25ph

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Client Portfolio Manager's Assistant in a world-leading financial services company, who's Asset Management product portfolio encompasses all asset classes, from equities and fixed income products to alternative investments.

The main purpose of this role is to support the Fixed Income client portfolio managers and fund managers for a range of fixed income clients, helping the CPMs to prepare for and manage portfolio review and strategy meetings with clients. Help the CPM maintain interim contact with clients to keep them abreast of strategy and ensure a full level of service.

The Client Portfolio Manager's Assistant's responsibilities include:

To collect information for CPMs and clients, help produce and maintain presentation documents for meetings on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
Help the CPMs to co-ordinate and review responses for clients.
Help the CPMs to collate information for and produce marketing style reports on a regular and adhoc basis including RFPs and RFIs.
Work with other departments within Asset Management to ensure clients receive quality service.

Applications are welcome from candidates with 1-2 years of experience within a Fixed Income Fund Management House working with Fund managers OR a minimum of 3 years financial services experience. You will also have a good knowledge of International/European/Emerging bond markets including debt structures, issuance methods, secondary market activities, pricing and accrual conventions.
