One of the world's largest financial institutions are now seeking an Exotics Product Controller to work within the EMEA Finance team and take a role supporting the credit correlation and equity derivative desks in London. Our client serves individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial products and services. Many of the company's services to corporate and institutional clients are provided through its U.S. and UK subsidiaries.

The key responsibilities for the Exotics Product Controller include:
-Maintaining and developing price verification processes for credit correlation and equity
derivative products
-Contributing to production of daily commentary for senior management on the drivers of the P&L through gaining an understanding of the products, markets and underlying trading strategies
-Being responsible for reserving calculations and contributing to the development of updated
reserve policies around those products
-Dealing with daily ad hoc P&L and reserving issues

Our client is looking for a qualified accountant or similar, preferably with experience in an investment banking environment or alternatively gained from major exposure to investment banking clients in practice. You should also have product knowledge from banking or FS audit in practice.
