• Asset Management - OTC Derivative Pricing Analyst - London

An OTC derivative pricing analyst is required for an eminent international asset management house. The role is based in London.


As part of investment operations, the data management team are responsible for the daily pricing, maintenance and creation all instrument classes within the firm's asset management portfolios. Following continued expansion into the derivatives business, the firm has consolidated all OTC derivatives pricing validation into one team and are now looking to further develop controls and policies and adopt best practice across the full range of these products.


Responsibilities will focus on the daily price validation for all OTC derivative instruments using existing processes and developing new models when appropriate. You will pro-actively liaise with portfolio managers, traders, fund accountants and operations teams on reported incidents relating to OTC derivatives pricing through to full resolution, including procedure, process review and re-training when necessary.


In depth knowledge and current experience of OTC derivative instruments from set up and maintenance is required, and, most importantly, through to price valuation methodologies. Good understanding of the asset management business is desirable, and you will ideally demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities.
