Position: Custody Operations Analyst - Edinburgh, City Centre
Rate: £12.70 per hour

One of the finest Investment Managers in the world is currently seeking a Custody Operations Analyst. The Custody Operations Analyst will be responsible for the reconciliation of cash accounts, the investigation and resolution of failed trades, preparing market claims on failed sales (where necessary), the investigation and clearance of all reconciliation breaks and the regular review of any overdraft charges levied against client accounts.

The responsibilities of the Custody Operations Analyst are:

- Reconcile and publish all cash accounts allocated
- Investigate reconciliation breaks on a daily basis ensuring all breaks resolved and cleared
- Post (after validation) cash entries for miscellaneous income and expenses identified from bank records
- Review failed trade report on a weekly basis and investigate sales fails on accounts
- Prepare and issue market claims for good value or costs arising on all sale fails which do not settle on due date

The Custody Operations Analyst will:

- Have a background in Investments
- Have excellent reconciliations experience
- Have good IT and PC skills

This is a temp role for a Custody Operations Analyst paying up to £12.70 per hour with the possibility of perm or extension. This is a Monday - Friday role.
